Against the backdrop of reports of an increase in cases related to the Nipah virus in India, the SES called on Uzbeks to be vigilant. It is noted that the virus has not yet been detected in Uzbekistan, and the epidemiological situation is stable.

Nevertheless, travelers to India were advised to strictly observe personal hygiene. In particular, they were reminded to wash their hands frequently, not to drink untested water, and not to eat suspicious or damaged fruits.
