On December 9, 2025, during the sixth round of the Champions League group stage, Kazakhstan's "Kairat" team suffered a 0-1 defeat at home against Greece's "Olympiacos". "Kairat" held off the visitors' attacks for a long time but conceded a goal in the final minutes.
