If the quality of gasoline purchased at the gas station raises doubts, the consumer should contact Uzenergoinspektsiya while keeping the receipt. Experts explained the procedure for conducting quality control in such a case.
First of all, there must be the full name and address of the gas station where the gasoline was purchased, as well as a receipt confirming payment. These documents are the main evidence for an official appeal.
If a malfunction in the car's engine is suspected to be caused by low-quality fuel, an official conclusion from the maintenance department is also required.
An important aspect is that, according to the current procedure, a sample is not taken from the vehicle's fuel tank for inspection. Quality control is carried out only by sampling petroleum products stored at the suspected gas station. This sample is analyzed in chemical control laboratories based on established standards.
Therefore, in order to prevent the spread of low-quality fuel to consumers, citizens are asked to immediately contact the hotline of Uzenergoinspektsiya in such cases - (71) 208-10-15.
