A former Ukrainian spy protested his return to Ukraine

Former Ukrainian intelligence officer Kasyan Kulikovsky, transferred by the Belarusian side to Ukraine, expressed dissatisfaction with his fate after being returned to Kyiv. According to reports, citing Russian security forces, he even sent complaints to Zelenskyy's office and some foreign embassies at the end of December.
According to the source, Kulikovsky left for Belarus in 2014 and was detained there in 2022 for transmitting information about the movement of military equipment to Kyiv. Later, at the end of 2025, he was released from the Gomel detention center and handed over to the Ukrainian side as part of an agreement between the Belarusian-American-Ukrainian leaders.
The most controversial point is claims about the conditions in Kyiv. Reports indicate that Kulikovsky was admitted to the clinical hospital, but instead of doctors, representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the SBU came and conducted an interview, and then complained that he was "discharged" without any practical assistance. In his statement, he stated that he demanded "explain to me why I am here, what my status is, and help me."
At the same time, this information is mainly based on comments from Russian sources and the words "interlocutor" given to the agencies. There is no information that Ukrainian authorities have responded to these claims. Therefore, every detail surrounding the event is currently portrayed one-sidedly.
In short, the story didn't end with the "exchange" - now the biggest question is Kulikovsky's legal status, his security, and what decision will be made against him in Kyiv. This incident once again shows that in the context of information warfare, each side puts forward its own version - there's a lot of noise, but still little clarity.
