Uzbekistan boxers shine at the IBA World Championship

The Uzbekistan national team has completed another successful day at the IBA World Championship. Uzbek boxers secured five victories, confidently advancing to the semifinals of the competition.

In the 54 kg weight category, Jalilov faced Serbian opponent Artur Nagapetyan. Displaying precise and composed movements, he defeated his rival with a score of 4:1, earning a spot in the top four.

In the next quarterfinal match, Khalokov took control of the fight from the very first seconds. The high pace set by the Uzbek athlete proved too much for Azerbaijani boxer Mahammadali Ashiraliyev. The result was a dominant 5:0 victory, securing Abdumalik's place in the semifinals.

In the 67 kg weight category, Muydin Khojayev stepped into the ring against Kazakh representative Sanatali Toltayev. Through determined and strategic maneuvers, Asadkhoja achieved a 4:1 victory, advancing to the next stage of the competition.

In the 75 kg weight category, Erkhinboyev defeated Azerbaijani opponent Saidjamshid Jafarov. According to the judges' decision, the Uzbek boxer triumphed with a score of 5:0 and progressed to the semifinals.

In the +92 kg weight category, Arman Makhanov faced experienced Cuban boxer Alejandro Lopes. Throughout the match, the Uzbek athlete maintained dominance in every round, securing a 5:0 victory.
