Roberto Firmino Compares Hugo Ekitike to Himself

Former Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino, who is currently playing for Al-Sadd in the Qatar Stars League, shared his thoughts about footballer Ugo Ekitike. This summer, the Reds signed the French striker from Eintracht Frankfurt for €95 million.

"I really like Ekitike; he works brilliantly with the ball. In some aspects, he reminds me of myself when I had just joined Liverpool," said the 34-year-old Brazilian player in an interview with TNT Sports.

Firmino played for Liverpool from 2015 to 2023. Ekitike, under the management of Arne Slot, has scored 10 goals and provided 1 assist in 23 appearances across all competitions this season.
