After conceding, Real Betis stepped up the pressure, frequently attacked down the wings and won several set pieces. In the 83rd minute, Giovani Lo Celso restored parity with a header, and the goal stood after a VAR check.
In stoppage time, both teams played cautiously. Real Oviedo held on for the draw with compact defending, while Real Betis could not break their opponents with a late push.
