France's Minister of Sports, Marina Ferrari, also commented on the situation. She stated that, for now, the French side does not intend to boycott, as the tournament is very important.
"At the moment, there is no such desire. This an extremely important tournament. However, I cannot rule anything out — we will observe how the situation develops," said Ferrari.
It should be noted that the World Cup will start on June 11 and will be held in three countries — the USA, Mexico, and Canada. The French national team is the current world vice-champion.
