Average monthly salary in Uzbekistan reaches 6.8 million soums
In Uzbekistan, the average monthly nominal wage reached 6.825 million soums in the first quarter of this year, marking a 17.4% increase compared to the same period last year. The highest wages were recorded in Tashkent city at 11.684 million soums, while the lowest was in Kashkadarya region at 4.665 million soums. Namangan region led in wage growth rates, with an increase of 19%, followed by Jizzakh and Samarkand regions, which also experienced significant wage growth.
According to the results of the first quarter of the current year, the average monthly nominal calculated salary in Uzbekistan amounted to 6.825 million soums. According to statistical data, this figure has increased by 17.4 percent compared to the same period last year.
By region, the highest salary was recorded in the city of Tashkent, reaching 11.684 million soums. Conversely, the lowest figure was observed in Qashqadaryo region, where the average salary was set at 4.665 million soums.
Namangan region leads in terms of salary growth rates, where the indicator increased by 19 percent. Additionally, salary growth continues at high rates in Jizzax and Samarqand regions.
