Solovyov apologized to a famous blogger: they reconciled during a live broadcast

One of the most sensational conflicts in the Russian television space has reached an unexpected conclusion. The fierce "war of words" between well-known TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov and famous blogger Viktoriya Bonya ended with an apology during a live broadcast. Zamin.uz examined the details of this political and personal conflict.
How did it all begin?
The development of events escalated following a video message addressed to President Vladimir Putin by Viktoriya Bonya on April 14. The blogger, who has 14 million followers on Instagram, listed problems in the country and stated, "people are afraid of you."
In response, Vladimir Solovyov insulted Bonya with extremely harsh words during his program. Even State Duma deputy Vitaliy Milonov accused the blogger of "illiteracy" and involvement in "escort" services. Consequently, Bonya announced that she would sue the propagandists.
Face-to-face meeting on live air
On April 28, the situation changed radically — Viktoriya Bonya appeared as a guest on Solovyov's show. At the beginning of the conversation, when Bonya mentioned that the pain in her legs was due to stress, Solovyov showed initial leniency by saying, "Let's consider that my fault."
The blogger demanded an apology from the TV presenter for insulting her and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. As a result, Solovyov admitted to being carried away by emotions and officially apologized to Bonya.
Putin, Meloni, and "Soft Power"
During the dialogue, several important topics were at the center of the debate:
Attitude toward the President: Solovyov emphasized that people in Russia do not fear Putin, but rather love him. In his opinion, Bonya's words about "fear" served as a "weapon" for Western publications.
The Giorgia Meloni issue: Although Solovyov stated he criticized the Italian Prime Minister as a politician rather than as a woman, he expressed that he would apologize if she was personally offended.
Ecology and war: Bonya attempted to raise ecological issues in Tuapse, but Solovyov raised his voice and shifted the conversation to drone attacks on Russian territories and the war.
The conflict will not go to court
At the end of the broadcast, Solovyov called Bonya a "smart girl." Viktoriya Bonya, in turn, stated that she had proven "women are a soft power" and that the TV presenter promised to take her objections into account.
«Today showed me once again that soft power works. I consider this a victory, albeit a small one. It is better to end with peace than with war», — the blogger said on her Instagram.
Thus, Viktoriya Bonya withdrew her intention to sue Solovyov.
Dear readers, how important do you think it is for such conflicts to be resolved on live air? Do you believe Solovyov's apology was sincere?
