Dayot Upamecano praises PSG and shares thoughts ahead of semi-final

Ahead of the UEFA Champions League semi-final, which is creating significant intrigue in European football, Bayern Munich defender Dayot Upamecano shared his thoughts on the opposing team. In an interview with TNT Sports, he gave a high assessment of PSG's current form.
The player noted that the Parisians have become one of the strongest teams in Europe, not only in terms of reputation but also in the quality of their play. Upamecano specifically highlighted the opponent's collective movement, speed, and aggressive attacking style.
“PSG is a super team with very high-level players. They are currently one of the best clubs in the world. They play very well together as a team and are very active in attack,” the defender said.
Upamecano also commented on the upcoming confrontation with Ousmane Dembele. According to him, the fact that they are from the same city adds even more interest to this contest.
“We are from the same city. Facing each other in the Champions League semi-final is a very extraordinary situation. We have played against each other before, but this match will be completely different. Both of us will fight to the maximum for our teams,” he added.
The footballer also expressed warm thoughts about his teammate Michael Olise. He noted that playing against Olise in training is always difficult.
“He is very talented. He can do almost anything with the ball. Defending against him in training is not easy. He always strives to improve himself,” Upamecano said.
