Lamine Yamal could surpass Kylian Mbappe in earnings

"Barcelona" winger Lamine Yamal could soon become the highest-paid player in La Liga. According to L'Équipe, the young star might earn nearly four times as much as "Real Madrid" forward Kylian Mbappe if he wins the Ballon d'Or and fulfills specific contract conditions.
Currently, the Catalan club pays the 18-year-old Spanish talent a monthly salary of 1.33 million euros. This figure keeps him outside the top five highest-paid players in the Spanish championship. The league's current top earners are "Real Madrid" stars Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior, who each receive 2.67 million euros per month.
However, Yamal's earnings could skyrocket to 10 million euros per month if he secures the prestigious Ballon d'Or award and meets set targets for appearances, goals, and team trophies. Achieving these milestones would result in the Spanish winger earning almost four times more than his French and Brazilian rivals.
Throughout the current season, Yamal has been in phenomenal form for "Barcelona". The young attacker has featured in 40 matches across all competitions, scoring 21 goals and providing 14 assists for his team.
