Samsung increases production volume for Galaxy S26 smartphones

Samsung is revising its production plans to meet the high demand for the Galaxy S26 series. According to ZDNet Korea, the company has increased its production target for May to 2.4–2.5 million units. The initial plans had set this figure at 1.9–2.1 million units. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports .
This marks the second production increase this year. In April, Samsung was also forced to raise its initial plan of 2.4 million units to 3 million. According to new data, the production plan for May includes 1 million Galaxy S26 units, 200,000 Galaxy S26+ units, and 1.2–1.3 million Galaxy S26 Ultra units.
Industry experts note that orders for components usually begin to decline two months after the launch of new flagships. However, in the case of the Galaxy S26, no such decline is being observed, and order volumes remain high. This indicates that user interest in this series is lasting longer than expected.
