Will Erling Haaland join Real Madrid? Florentino Perez's response

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez commented on rumors regarding a potential move for Manchester City striker Erling Haaland. While Perez avoided direct questions, he emphasized that the club is always ready to sign the best players to strengthen the squad. According to Goal.com reports.
The Norwegian striker has been delivering outstanding results in the Premier League since joining Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund in 2022. This season, he has scored 37 goals and provided 8 assists in 50 matches. Nevertheless, his contract with Manchester City runs until 2034.
In an interview with LaSexta, Perez recalled his past marquee signings: "We have always brought in the best. Figo, Kaka, Ronaldo, and Beckham are among them. If there is a good player, I will try to sign him." However, when asked about Haaland, he closed the topic by stating he does not interfere with the work of the sporting director and management.
Perez also dismissed rumors regarding Jose Mourinho. He stressed that he has not held any negotiations with the Portuguese coach and that he does not make final decisions on coaching matters alone. As Real Madrid finishes a second consecutive season without a trophy, the club's leadership is preparing for serious changes in the summer transfer window.
