Medical facilities to operate continuously during the Eid holidays

In honor of the great holiday of Eid al-Adha, our citizens will enjoy 5 consecutive days of rest. It is crucial to maintain a high state of readiness for our healthcare system to protect public health and provide quality medical care during these long holidays.
The Ministry of Health has announced that medical staff will continue their duties diligently during the holidays. A special operational headquarters has been established under the ministry to coordinate fast and effective medical services for the population.
So, how will the healthcare system operate from May 27 to 31? We have systematized the important information for you.
Hospitals operating on a shift basis
Despite the holidays, the health of our citizens will remain under constant supervision. Medical staff in the following institutions will organize shifts according to the legally established order and a special schedule:
All major district, city, regional, and republican-level hospitals;
Specialized scientific-practical medical centers;
Leading clinics of medical universities;
39 newly established inter-district joint trauma and acute cardiovascular disease centers in the regions.
Fast and emergency medical care: Ready 24/7
The emergency medical system will operate in an enhanced, 24-hour mode to provide first aid to the population in emergency situations:

Emergency care: The Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care, its 13 regional branches, and nearly 200 emergency medical departments in the regions will have doctors and nurses on duty 24 hours a day.
Ambulance brigades: More than 2,860 medical aid brigades across 14 regional branches, 167 major stations, 63 substations, and 1,436 base points of the Republican Ambulance Center will remain ready to respond to calls on time as usual.
Maternity hospitals and children's hospitals
The birth of our little princes and princesses, the joy of the family, and the health of our children are of special concern during these beautiful holiday days. All maternity complexes and children's medical institutions in our country will continue their work without any breaks, in a continuous mode.
Special supervision on the day of Eid prayer
In accordance with our beautiful traditions, Eid al-Adha prayer will be performed in the mosques of our country early on the morning of May 27. To ensure the health and safety of worshippers during these sacred moments, special shifts of emergency medical brigades consisting of experienced doctors will be fully deployed at all congregational mosques.
