Additional bus services launched from Tashkent for the Eid holidays

Ahead of the Eid al-Adha holiday, additional bus routes have been organized from the Tashkent bus station to the regions. Considering the increase in passenger flow during the holidays, transport services are being expanded to ensure residents reach their destinations comfortably and safely.
It is reported that 55 additional trips have been added to the 65 regular bus routes traveling from Tashkent through Sirdarya to the oasis regions. This decision will be a significant convenience, especially for citizens heading to the regions to spend the holiday with their families, loved ones, and relatives.
It is also noted that the number of additional trips may be increased if passenger numbers rise further. Transport officials plan to monitor the situation and adjust services based on demand. This will help reduce ticket shortages and excessive congestion ahead of the holiday.
Furthermore, traffic police will be operating on an enhanced duty schedule on international highways during the holidays. This is a crucial measure to ensure safety, regulate traffic, and prevent accidents on the roads.
It is noted that preventive measures are also being carried out with drivers. They are being instructed not to artificially inflate ticket prices, to get sufficient rest before trips, to pay attention to the technical condition of their vehicles, and to strictly adhere to traffic rules.
During the holidays, safety and fair pricing are among the most important issues in passenger transport. Because demand increases sharply at such times, attempts to artificially inflate prices may be observed in some cases. Therefore, officials are working to keep this process under control.
As a reminder, Eid al-Adha in Uzbekistan will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 27. Due to the holiday, Uzbekistanis will have 5 consecutive days off. For this reason, the number of people traveling from the capital to the regions and from the regions to Tashkent is expected to be much higher than usual.
In short, 55 additional bus trips have been launched from the Tashkent bus station ahead of Eid al-Adha. Services may be increased further depending on the rise in passenger numbers. For those traveling, the best approach is to purchase tickets in advance, plan their time, and take safety rules seriously.
