Happiness level of families in Uzbekistan determined

According to the results of a survey conducted by the Family and Gender Research Institute, the general happiness index of families in Uzbekistan reached 0.618 points. The study was conducted in March–April 2026.
12,697 respondents from across the republic participated in the survey. It examined the economic status of families, employment levels, educational opportunities, healthy lifestyles, and satisfaction with public services.
According to the methodology, the happiness index is rated from -1 to +1. A result above +0.5 is considered a "high level." Therefore, 0.618 points indicate that families have a high level of life satisfaction.
According to the data, this indicator was 0.560 points in 2023 and 0.611 points in 2025. It is noted that the happiness index has been gradually increasing in recent years.
In the study, family values, demographic stability, and satisfaction with family life were highlighted as the highest-rated areas.
