Additional flights from Tashkent to be launched during Eid holidays

In honor of Eid al-Adha, additional domestic flights will be organized from Tashkent to various regions of the country. The Ministry of Transport's information service announced this. Given the increase in passenger flow during the holidays, the number of flights on several routes is being increased.

It is reported that between May 25 and 31, a total of 28 additional round-trip flights will be operated by Uzbekistan Airways, Silk Avia, and Centrum Air from Tashkent to Bukhara, Termez, Urgench, and Nukus.

According to the Ministry, these additional flights are expected to transport 8,988 passengers to their destinations. This will be a significant convenience, especially for citizens traveling to the regions to visit family, relatives, and friends during the holidays.

According to the current schedule, there are 23 flights per week on the Tashkent–Bukhara route, 23 on the Tashkent–Termez route, 35 on the Tashkent–Urgench route, and 16 on the Tashkent–Nukus route. In total, the number of weekly flights on these routes is 97.

The launch of additional flights will help partially meet the demand for tickets during the holidays, ensure passengers reach their destinations on time, and reduce transport load. Especially on long-distance routes, air travel allows citizens to save time and travel comfortably.

At the same time, according to the Traffic Safety Department, 55 additional bus trips have been added to routes from Tashkent to the southern regions via Sirdaryo. This expands travel options for passengers beyond air transport.

Movement of the population intensifies on the eve of Eid al-Adha. Many travel from the capital to the regions or vice versa to spend the holiday with their families. Therefore, the organization of additional trips is expected to provide significant relief for passengers.

For information, Eid al-Adha will be celebrated in Uzbekistan on May 27. Increased demand in the transport system during the holiday is natural. Therefore, citizens are advised to purchase tickets in advance, plan their travel time, and follow official announcements.

In short, additional flights from Tashkent to Bukhara, Termez, Urgench, and Nukus will be launched during the Eid al-Adha holidays. A total of 28 additional flights are planned to transport nearly 9,000 passengers. Additional bus trips are also being added. The holiday is near, so it is best to have travel plans ready in advance.
