The Russian Investigative Committee has issued an official conclusion that the special services of various countries were behind the bloody terrorist attack that occurred a year ago at the Crocus City Hall concert hall in the Moscow region. According to the official representative of the Investigative Committee, Svetlana Petrenko, the incident was planned to destabilize the situation in Russia. However, it was not specified which country.

How was the terrorist attack carried out?

On March 22, 2024, four attackers with assault rifles entered the Crocus City Hall concert hall in the city of Krasnogorsk, Moscow region, opened fire on people and set the building on fire. As a result, 145 people were killed and more than 550 were injured to varying degrees. This incident became one of the largest and bloodiest terrorist attacks committed in Russia in recent years.

Who is to blame?

According to the investigation, members of an international terrorist organization were involved in the attack. Russian authorities have not yet revealed the name of this organization. However, it is said that the attack was carried out by 6 citizens of Central Asia. Some of them acted under pseudonyms.

Investigators also provided information about who trained the attackers. According to Russian law enforcement agencies, the suspects in the attack are citizens of Tajikistan Dalerjon Mirzoyev, Saidakram Rajabalizoda, Shamsiddin Fariduni and Muhammadsabir Fayzov, who received training abroad. All four suspects were detained.
