
After several tense days in the Middle East, the military clashes between Iran and Israel have finally come to an end. The ceasefire, officially effective at 10:00 Tashkent time, is considered an important diplomatic outcome by both sides.
Iran: “The enemy has admitted defeat”
The Iranian Security Council issued an official statement, emphasizing that the country forced the enemy to regret, admit defeat, and unilaterally stop aggression thanks to the bravery and unity of its armed forces. According to the statement, Iran’s army remains ready for any new threats, “finger on the trigger.” Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi also announced that the military operation to “punish Israel” had concluded. He expressed sincere gratitude to the national army and every citizen for being ready to defend the homeland until the last moment.
Israel: “We achieved all our goals”
In a statement issued by the Israeli Cabinet of Ministers, it was stated that all objectives during the last 12 days of clashes were accomplished, and the existential threat to the country was eliminated. These events were named the “Operation with Lion’s Courage” in the Jewish state and recognized as a historic achievement of the Israeli people, further strengthening their influence in the global political arena.
Ceasefire: negotiations with U.S. involvement
According to reports, this ceasefire was reached through the initiative of U.S. President Donald Trump. Both parties called on the war-weary people of the region to consider the ceasefire as a new era of peace and reconciliation.
Losses and casualties
The most tragic part was the numerous victims during the 12-day conflict: according to Israeli officials, 28 civilians were killed and over a thousand were injured to varying degrees.
