The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Israel has officially announced that security measures in the country have been tightened and new restrictions have been introduced. The reason cited is the further deterioration of the overall situation in Israel and an increased threat level.
According to a statement from the Israel Defense Forces press service, new security rules came into effect in the country from 03:45 on June 22 until 8:00 on June 23. From now on, in areas with "restricted activity" only "necessary activities" are permitted. This decision was made to ensure public safety and to prevent the situation from getting out of control.
According to local authorities, all educational institutions have stopped operating. In addition, all manufacturing enterprises have also suspended their activities, except for military and essential sectors. The public is allowed to go to work only when necessary. These strict restrictions are aimed at further improving the security situation in the country.
The Uzbekistan embassy once again called on our citizens in Israel to strictly comply with security rules, to be as cautious as possible, and especially not to leave special shelters under any circumstances during rocket attacks. It is also recommended to constantly follow the news through official sources and to contact the embassy if necessary.
It should be recalled that on June 18, the Uzbekistan embassy provided official information about digital registration and ensuring safe evacuation for citizens wishing to leave the country. These measures were introduced in cooperation with the Israel Ministry of Tourism and created an opportunity for temporarily residing Uzbeks to leave safely.
