In Samarkand, the Amir Temur mausoleum, Ulugh Beg madrasah, and the Tilla-Kari madrasah at Registan Square have reopened for visitors after extensive restoration and renovation of the exhibitions. This was announced by Saida Mirziyoyeva, head of Uzbekistan’s Presidential Administration.

Now, it is possible to see hundreds of unique exhibits here, including Mirzo Ulugh Beg's manuscripts and archival documents related to the history of Amir Temur. The exhibitions are presented in a modern multimedia format.

“It is especially pleasing that, in the coming days, guests of the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference will have the opportunity to appreciate the priceless treasures of our ancient capital,” Mirziyoyeva said.
