Uzhydromet issued an urgent warning

Uzhydromet announced the risk of avalanches in the mountainous regions of the republic due to precipitation and a sharp change in air temperature on December 13-16.

Avalanche danger has also been declared in the Bostanlyk, Akhangaran, and Parkent districts of the Tashkent region (mountains of the Chatkal Range) and the Pap district of the Namangan region.

Citizens living in mountainous areas, vacationers, and drivers traveling on mountain roads were asked to take precautions.
