Robert Englund Honored on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

On October 31, 2025, a ceremony was held on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles to unveil the star of famous actor Robert Englund. Englund became famous for his role as Freddy Krueger in the "Nightmare on Elm Street" horror film series.

His star is located at 6644 Hollywood Boulevard, in the "Motion Pictures" category. This date was not chosen by chance—on Halloween itself, the Freddy Krueger character achieved special popularity among fans of the horror genre.

The ceremony was attended by the actor’s colleagues and friends. Among them were Heather Langenkamp, who played the role of Nancy in the "Nightmare on Elm Street" trilogy, and renowned director Eli Roth.

In his speech, Roth called Englund "a living legend of the horror genre." "Freddy became a symbol of fear, but Robert gave him a human face, charisma, humor, and a voice recognized by millions," said Roth.

The 77-year-old Englund thanked his fans for their loyalty to the franchise and called this day "the happiest Halloween of his life." Jokingly, he added, "I never thought that one day a guy in a striped sweater and hat would be among the stars."

The ceremony was broadcast live on the Hollywood Walk of Fame page.
