Peskov confirmed receiving such a request, noting that it was intended to "create favorable conditions for negotiations."
Here's the main nuance: these messages are bringing the topic of strikes to a narrower agenda about limitations for a certain period rather than the question of "will it stop altogether." Peskov's statement that "there's nothing to add" is also a signal that the Kremlin is not rushing to announce the new date or new terms for now.
At the same time, it is said that the topic of the negotiations has advanced again: the materials provide information that negotiations were held in a trilateral format in Abu Dhabi, and further steps are being discussed.
