November 10, 2025, 5:53 PM. The film "Predator: Death Planet" earned $80 million during its opening weekend, according to "Variety".
Out of this, $40 million was generated in the U.S. market, significantly exceeding analysts' forecasts of around $25–30 million. With a budget of $105 million, the global debut of $80 million is considered promising.
The $40 million collected in the U.S. set a franchise record, surpassing the $38 million achieved by "Predator at the Crossroads," released in 2004. The film's PG-13 rating allowed it to attract a broader audience.
Additionally, premium formats such as Imax and Dolby accounted for 59% of the total U.S. revenue. The success of "Predator: Death Planet" is helping revive the box office market, which had dropped to its lowest level in 28 years in recent months.
Currently, total U.S. box office revenues are approximately 3% above the figures for 2024. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
