How many babies were born in Uzbekistan in 9 months?

During January-September 2025, birth rates in Uzbekistan were even more pronounced. According to the National Statistics Committee, a total of 664.6 thousand live births were registered across the country during these nine months.

According to official calculations, the majority of births were recorded individually. In particular, in 649,041 cases, one child was born. At the same time, twins were born in 15,136 cases. Among the rare cases, 421 cases of the birth of 3 or more children were recorded.

Experts note that these figures indicate that the natural population growth is maintained at a stable level. Especially in terms of regions, some regions occupy leading positions in terms of the number of births.
