In celebration of the 35th anniversary of the film Home Alone, Disney+ paid an unusual tribute in Los Angeles to one of the most famous houses in cinema history. The company built a giant house made entirely of sweet dough — gingerbread — setting a world record.
According to reports, the structure stands 8 meters tall and is 18 meters long. The ice-covered sweet house was officially entered into the Guinness World Records as the largest gingerbread house in history.
Disney+ management described the project as a symbol of festive spirit and family traditions. Tons of flour, thousands of eggs, special sweet “bricks,” edible glue, and sugar fondant were used in the construction.
Interestingly, visitors were also given the opportunity to taste the famous “A Lovely Cheese Pizza” mentioned in the film. As a result, childhood memories were revived once again with a sweet flavor.
