Famous film director Quentin Tarantino announced the top ten films of the 21st century in The Bret Easton Ellis podcast. Ridley Scott's film "Black Hawk" took first place in this ranking. According to Tarantino, this action film is the closest to the spirit of "The Apocalypse of Today."
In second place, according to Tarantino, is the animated film "Toy Story: The Great Escape." The director emphasized that his continuation is close to perfection.
The third place in Tarantino's rating was taken by Sofia Coppola's melancholic film "Difficulties of Translation." Also in the following places are the epic dramas "Dunkirk" by Christopher Nolan and "Oil" by Paul Thomas Anderson. Tarantino stated that he initially didn't appreciate Dunkirk highly, but after watching it several times, he now values it highly.
The director added that he was surprised that the author of the film "The Battle of the Kings" did not sue the creator of the trilogy "The Hunger Games" for plagiarism.
