Valentino created a unique style school in world fashion through the Valentino Fashion House, which he founded in 1960. He became one of the designers who rose to the top alongside such names as Giorgio Armani and Karl Lagerfeld. One of the most well-known symbols of the brand is the color "Valentino red."
It is said that his love for red was inspired by the impressions he experienced during his trip to Spain, and it later became a symbol of the brand. Even in her last collection in 2008, the models who took the podium were presented in red dresses. The farewell to Valentino will take place on January 21-22 at Piazza Mignanelli in Rome, and the funeral will take place on January 23 at the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martiri.
