Disney's animated film "Zveropolis 2" reached a new milestone in box office, grossing $1.7 billion worldwide. This amount made it the most successful Hollywood animated film in history, as it surpassed the previous record holder - "Puzzle 2" ($1.69 billion). However, the absolute world record is still held by the Chinese animated film "Nechja 2" ($2.25 billion). This was reported by Variety.

With such collections, "Zveropolis 2" ranked ninth on the list of the highest-grossing films of all time.

The film, which began showing in November, broke records from the very first days: its launch with $559.5 million in five days became the best in the history of animation. In total, the cartoon grossed $390 million in North America and $1.31 billion abroad. "Zveropolis 2" was especially warmly received in China, where its revenue amounted to $619 million. The tape also became the highest-grossing in Disney's history.

In the continuation of "Zveropolis", rabbit Judy Hopps and fox Nick Wild reunite to uncover the secret of reptiles, which can forever change life in Zveropolis.

Meanwhile, in China, young people started buying reptiles inspired by the snake Gary from "Zveropolis 2".
