Jason Isaacs will also star in the series, playing Lara Croft’s uncle, Atlas de Mornay. Bill Paterson will play Lara’s butler Winston, while Martin Bobb-Semple will portray her tech assistant Zip.
Jack Bannon, Celia Imrie, John Heffernan, Paterson Joseph, Sasha Luss, Julett Motamed, and August Wittgenstein have also joined the cast. All of them will play original roles created specifically for the series.
Sophie Turner will play Lara Croft in the adaptation. Phoebe Waller-Bridge, known for the series Fleabag and Killing Eve, is working on the project as writer and executive producer.
Tomb Raider is an adventure game series about archaeologist Lara Croft as she explores ancient ruins, solves puzzles, and fights enemies. The franchise began in 1996 and has become one of the most recognizable brands in video game history.
