The first stage of the Asian Track Cycling Series has concluded in Nilay, Malaysia. The Uzbekistan national team, which participated in it, achieved a very worthy result, winning a total of 3 gold and 1 bronze medal.
The real hero of this stage was Sergei Rostovtsev. In one competition, he surpassed his opponents in three different disciplines, filling the "collection" of gold medals. Rostovtsev claimed victory in the omnium, scratch, and elimination competitions.
It is gratifying that our girls returned with medals. In the elimination program, Nafosat Koziyeva won a bronze medal among the strong competition and further enriched the national team's record.
