Students can find employment: opportunities allowed by law

The Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction put an end to the most frequently raised question about student employment: "Is it illegal to hire a student?" The answer is short - no, not contradictory. That is, being a student doesn't mean being "forbidden" from working, on the contrary, one can work freely within the legal framework.

The ministry emphasized that there are no restrictions on students working. Depending on the need, they can even operate at full 1 rate. This means that if someone is looking for additional income for tuition fees, housing, or family expenses - this path is not closed by law.

Especially for those studying in the field of pedagogy, the opportunity has been defined more clearly: starting from the 3rd year, it is possible to carry out pedagogical activity as the main place of work in general education institutions without interfering with the educational process. That is, it's allowed to "warm up" hands not only in theory but also in practice - as long as the balance between study and work is maintained.

In other organizations, students can work in two directions: in positions corresponding to their diploma direction or in jobs that do not require special qualifications. This is also a very realistic scenario: someone gains experience in their field, while someone temporarily earns income through a simpler job.

The conclusion is simple: the statement "student cannot work" is a myth. The law permits this, and the ministry has also stated it openly. Now the main thing is that both work and studies should be conducted in a "responsible mode": both a diploma and salary should be in hand.
