A record number of new enterprises was registered in Tashkent.

According to the National Statistics Committee, in January-August 2025, 58,502 new enterprises and organizations (excluding farms and dekhkan farms) were created in Uzbekistan. This figure is 1.1% more than in the same period last year.

Leaders by region:

• Tashkent city - 12,796
• Tashkent region - 5,788 units.
• Khorezm region - 5,251 units.
• Fergana region - 4,814 units.
• Samarkand region - 4,429

Minimum indicators:

• Navoi region - 2,246 units.
• Syrdarya region - 1,484 units.

Thus, the city of Tashkent maintains the absolute leadership - about 22% of the total number of new enterprises belongs to the capital.
