Nurmagomedov compared his father and coach to football legends.

Former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov has compared his father and coach, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, to renowned football coach Sir Alex Ferguson.

He also compared his former coach Javier Mendes to Carlo Ancelotti.

"I think my father is like Sir Alex Ferguson, and Javier Mendes is like Carlo Ancelotti. Of course, Josep Guardiola is also a great coach, but that's not enough. He needs to stay in the top ranks for several more seasons, maybe decades. How many years has he been up there? 15 years? Ferguson and Ancelotti remained at the top for about 30 years. Just like my father and Javier," Khabib said in an interview.
