
As of November 1, 2025, the total number of active enterprises and organizations in Uzbekistan stood at 465,900, according to a report by the State Statistics Committee. This marks a 0.7% decrease compared to the previous year.
The majority of active companies in the country are small enterprises and micro-firms, which account for 84.9% of the total. The most common legal structure is the Limited Liability Company (LLC), making up 78.3% of all commercial entities.
By type of activity, the trade sector leads, comprising 32.5% of all enterprises. It is followed by the industrial sector (12.6%) and agriculture (7.3%).
The number of enterprises with foreign investment has been steadily increasing, reaching 17,600 with an annual growth rate of 15%. Among investing countries, China leads with 4,700 companies (26.9%) registered.
Russia (18.1%) and Turkey (11.9%) also hold prominent positions. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
