Xabi Alonso asked for January transfers, Real responded

Real Madrid are not currently planning to fulfill head coach Xabi Alonso’s requests regarding January transfers. This was reported by euro-football.rureports.

According to ESPN, Alonso wants several new players to be added to the squad during the winter transfer window. However, while the club’s management acknowledges that certain positions need strengthening, it does not want to deviate from its strategy of not buying players in winter unless there is an urgent need.

After 18 rounds, Real sit second in the La Liga table with 42 points, four points behind leaders Barcelona. On January 4, Xabi Alonso’s team will host Betis.
