Central Bank Sets New Dollar Exchange Rate

The Central Bank sets the new exchange rate for the US dollar
As of December 24, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan set the official exchange rate for the US dollar at 12,052.33 soums. This figure represents an increase of 41.9 soums compared to the previous rate.

Additionally, the Central Bank updated the euro exchange rate to 14,213.31 soums, reflecting a growth of 125.08 soums.

The Russian ruble also strengthened by 2.46 soums, reaching 153.71 soums. As of 4:00 PM on December 23, commercial banks set the dollar purchase rate at 11,955–12,010 soums, while the selling rate was set at 12,040–12,115 soums.

The euro purchase rate ranged between 13,000–13,900 soums, and the selling rate was set at 14,100–15,500 soums. As of December 15, the Russian ruble was being purchased at 90–144 soums and sold between 152–190 soums at commercial banks.
