Best national team named at Globe Soccer Award 2025

On Sunday, the Globe Soccer Award ceremony will honor the best of the year. In the “Best National Team” category, Portugal were recognized as the 2025 winners. This was reported by euro-football.ru.reports.

The Portuguese also won the Nations League in June. Roberto Martinez’s side beat Spain on penalties after a 2–2 draw in the final. Star striker Cristiano Ronaldo also plays for the national team.

In the summer, Portugal will take part in the next major tournament — the World Cup. The competition will be hosted by the USA, Canada and Mexico. In the group stage, Portugal’s opponents will be Uzbekistan, Colombia, and one of the teams that qualify via the intercontinental play-offs.
