A 20 MW wind power plant is being constructed in the Bo'stonliq district of Tashkent region, according to the Ministry of Energy. The plant is scheduled to become operational in 2026.
Once operational, the power plant is expected to produce approximately 50 million kWh of electricity annually. This will provide electricity to nearly 20,000 households.
The implementation of this project will result in an annual reduction of 15 million cubic meters in natural gas consumption. Additionally, the plant holds significant environmental importance, as it will prevent the release of 22,000 tons of harmful gases into the atmosphere each year.
