Semenyo close to Manchester City: transfer within 48 hours

Manchester City are very close to signing Bournemouth wingerAntoine Semenyo. According to insider Ben Jacobs, talks between the clubs are nearing completion and the transfer is expected to be officially announced within the next 48 hours.

The source says the 25-year-old Ghanaian has already fully agreed personal terms with the Cityzens. The main remaining issue is finalizing the last formal agreements between Bournemouth and City.

Meanwhile, Bournemouth’s management hope Semenyo will feature tomorrow against Chelsea. The match is expected to potentially become the winger’s farewell appearance for the club.

Antoine Semenyo has been delivering strong output in the Premier League this season. He has played 17 matches, scoring 9 goals and providing 3 assists. His pace, powerful dribbling and attacking intensity are said to fit Pep Guardiola’s style.

If the move goes through, Semenyo could further strengthen Manchester City’s attack and give the team extra options in the title race.
