As of March 1, 2026, 1,242 foreign enterprises were operating in the information and communications sector in Uzbekistan, according to the National Statistics Committee.
According to the data, the largest share belongs to Russia with 457 companies. The next places are occupied by Kazakhstan (113) and Belarus (63).
Other countries are also actively participating:
USA - 58 companies
Turkey - 51 companies
China - 40 companies
The contribution of other countries - 341 companie
The UAE (32), Japan (30), Tajikistan (29) and South Korea (28) also occupy an important place in the list
According to statistics, the volume of information and communication services in January-February 2026 amounted to 14.776 trillion soums. This volume includes:
Computer programming services - 46%
Telecommunications services - 31.2%
Information services - 14.3%
Publishing services - 6.3%
