On February 5-7 of this year, the structures of the State Security Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Internal Affairs held large-scale "Oriat" and "Qoradori" events throughout the country.

During the large-scale "Oriat" operational and preventive events held on February 7, joint events were held in saunas, SPA salons, massage parlors, karaoke bars, hotels, hostels, nightclubs and other public places in order to identify crimes against morality and health, prevent the spread of HIV (AIDS) and other infectious, skin and venereal diseases.

As part of the measures, 340 facilities were inspected, 2,957 persons who may pose a threat to public health were informed, mobile medical examinations were conducted, and appropriate medical reports were obtained.

Within the framework of 93 criminal cases initiated on the identified cases, 94 persons were brought to criminal liability. 153 persons were brought to administrative liability, preventive interviews were conducted with 1,920 persons, and 766 of them were officially warned.

In the second stage of the large-scale "Qaradori" measures, within the framework of a total of 640 special operational measures, operational and preventive warning measures were carried out with 1,401 persons suspected of distributing, storing, and consuming narcotic drugs.

During the measures, a total of 28 kg. 857 gr. of narcotic drugs (heroin, opium, hashish, synthetic narcotic drugs) and 9,421 pieces of strong-acting and psychotropic drugs were stopped from being distributed among the population. 18 illegal firearms and 126 pieces of cold steel were detected.

In addition, 269 criminal cases were initiated against 339 persons, and 119 persons were brought to administrative responsibility. 53 wanted persons were detained. Preventive interviews were conducted with 656 persons, and 234 were officially warned.

During the operational activities conducted on the Telegram social network, information was received that 1 kg of synthetic narcotics was buried in the Yukarichirchik district of the Tashkent region using the “zaklad” method.

As a result of the activities conducted based on the information, two individuals born in 1986 and 2002 were detained while retrieving the narcotics from the burial site. In various places in the house in Mirabad district, where one of them lives, it was found that there were a total of 200 grams of synthetic narcotics, electronic scales, insulating tape and zip-packets prepared for distribution using the “zaklad” method, and material evidence was documented.

During the operational activities conducted in the direction of combating human trafficking, a citizen of the Republic of Turkey born in 1986, temporarily residing in Tashkent, and two citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan were detained. These individuals were caught by the participants of the event while they were conspiring to send two women to Istanbul through Tashkent International Airport for the purpose of sexual exploitation.

During the search operations conducted in the capital, it was revealed that a person born in 1980 threatened a citizen born in 1987 in Uchtepa district, hit him in the face several times, took a mobile phone worth 280 US dollars and 460 thousand soums, and fled the scene. A criminal case was initiated against him and the precautionary measure of “arrest” was applied.

In addition, information was received that an acquaintance of this person kept a “Makarov” pistol at his place of residence. On February 6, this person, born in 1978, was arrested, during the search of his house in Uchtepa district, 1 "Makarov" pistol, 2 cartridges and 15 live cartridges manufactured in 1980 were found and duly documented.
