In Uzbekistan, over 60 billion UZS was returned to citizens who were unlawfully dismissed from their jobs, according to the press service of the Bureau of Compulsory Execution (BPI).
On February 28, the Agency for Information and Mass Communications (AIMC) hosted a press conference titled "Execution of court rulings, innovations, and digitalization efforts in recent years." The event was attended by the First Deputy Director of BPI, Shavkat Haydarov, along with other officials.
Haydarov stated that Uzbekistan is actively improving the system for enforcing judicial rulings and protecting citizens' rights. In 2024, the BPI completed enforcement cases totaling 3.6 trillion UZS, which is 460 billion UZS more than during the same period in 2023.
Additionally, 15 regional departments used digital technology to recover 95.5 billion UZS without enforcing legal action or seizing assets.
BPI also took systemic measures to ensure compliance with socially significant legal decisions:
179 billion UZS was collected for low-income families;
1,800 unemployed debtors were provided jobs;
1,200 families were reconciled;
925 unlawfully dismissed employees were reinstated and received 61 billion UZS in unpaid wages.
Through the "Alimony Payment Fund," 218 recipients were paid a total of 918.1 billion UZS. Additionally, 68 individuals who lost their jobs due to labor law violations were reinstated and compensated with 40 billion UZS in unpaid salaries.
BPI also modernized the system for notifying debtors about ongoing enforcement proceedings. More than 9.9 million SMS notifications were sent to citizens with outstanding debts.
As a result, 71,000 enforcement cases were resolved voluntarily, representing a 53.7% increase compared to 2023. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
