The Fatwa Center of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan has announced the zakat nisab, fitr charity and fidya amounts for the month of Ramadan 2025.

The Fatwa Center of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan has determined the zakat nisab for this year's Ramadan as 61 million 200 thousand soums, based on the value of ≈85 grams of 585-proof gold.

"Accordingly, whoever has at least 61 million 200 thousand soums in cash or commercial property worth this value in addition to his essential needs, must give one fortieth (2.5%) of the total amount to those who are entitled to zakat," the religious board said in a statement.

Also, the amount of Zakat al-Fitr has been determined as follows:

• ≈2 kg of wheat flour – 10,000 (ten thousand) soums;
  
• ≈4 kg of barley – 16,000 (sixteen thousand) soums;
  
• ≈2 kg of raisins – 110,000 (one hundred and ten thousand) soums;
  
• ≈4 kg of dates – 180,000 (one hundred and eighty thousand) soums.
  

It is sufficient for anyone to give one of these four products or its value as Zakat al-Fitr, according to their means.

The amount of fidya for one day is the same as the amount of Zakat al-Fitr.
