Who is being nominated for the post of UFA president?

In accordance with the Charter of the Football Association of Uzbekistan, elections for the presidency of the UFA will be held on February 22. The UFA reported this.

On January 20, the UFA appealed to its members to send their proposals for candidates for this position. Information about the candidates received by the UFA official email address was checked by the UFA Election Committee in accordance with the Charter of the Football Association of Uzbekistan and the Election Code and, in accordance with Article 30 of the UFA Charter, was submitted to the UFA Secretariat 30 days before the Congress.

According to Article 33 of the UFA Charter, UFA members must be notified of the venue and agenda of the extraordinary election Congress at least 10 days before the Congress. In this regard, it is determined that the venue and agenda of the Congress will be communicated to all members on February 12.

Also, Article 11 of the UFA Election Code states that information on the official list of candidates must be published in the press, and UFA members nominated Bahodir Kurbanov for the position of President of the Football Association of Uzbekistan.
