Is Fayzullaev's departure a painful but right decision for CSKA?
Famous Russian coach Valery Nepomnyashchy, who has made his mark in Russian football, shared his opinion on Abbosbek Fayzullaev’s departure from CSKA. According to him, this transfer is painful for the team but financially beneficial, he said in an interview with championat.com journalist Yegor Kabak.

“Abbos is a loss for CSKA. He could still contribute a lot to the team. But such situations on the football market are unavoidable. Clubs like CSKA need to earn money to maintain financial balance. I think, if the player wants to play in Europe — he should be allowed to,” said the experienced coach.

Earlier, Turkish media reported that Fayzullaev is expected to transfer to Istanbul Başakşehir for €7.5 million. It was also reported that the parties had reached an agreement.

Notably, Abbosbek Fayzullaev joined CSKA in the summer of 2023 with great expectations. He transferred from Pakhtakor to the Moscow club for around €500,000 and quickly became one of the key players of the team.

Fayzullaev's technical skills, dynamic playing style, and mental preparedness made him an attractive candidate for European clubs. His move to a Turkish club represents not only a new stage in his personal career but also reaffirms the reputation of Uzbek players in the international football market.

Even though CSKA is losing an important player, the club is gaining significant financial returns from this transfer. Interestingly, both sides are getting what they want: the club — money, the player — new opportunities.

The pursuit of dreams by footballers, and their ability to prove themselves in new stages, is an essential part of the game. Fayzullaev chose such a path, and we wish him luck and health along the way.

Fans now await Abbosbek on Turkish stadiums, against new opponents, and in a new playing rhythm. Following his European journey will be exciting and could become an important chapter in Uzbek football history.
