The famous French club Paris Saint-Germain has once again attracted the football world's attention this summer with a strange decision. The team's head coach, Luis Enrique, decided to exclude well-known players who returned from loan — Spaniards Marco Asensio and Carlos Soler, as well as Slovak central defender Milan Škriniar — from the main squad’s training, reports Ok Diario.
According to reports, the coach has completely removed these players from his plans for the upcoming season. For that reason, he sent them not to train with the main team under his supervision but to the reserve squad. Enrique’s decision surprised not only the players themselves but also many experts.
Currently, Asensio, Soler, and Škriniar, all prominent names, are training with the reserve team. These sessions come with lighter workloads and a lower risk of injury. This is because their transfers are expected, and the club aims to sell them at the best possible price.
In particular, Carlos Soler has drawn serious interest from the Spanish club Villarreal. Meanwhile, Marco Asensio and Milan Škriniar are on the radar of Turkish club Fenerbahçe. It is reported that Fenerbahçe's management has offered contracts to both players and is conducting negotiations.
These players were once expected to deliver high-level performances at PSG. However, their lack of form or failure to adapt did not align with the club’s plans. Now, their careers in Paris appear to be coming to an end.
