Uzbekistan boxers secure 14 medals in Minsk
Uzbekistan’s boxers successfully participated in the XXII International Tournament dedicated to the memory of V.I. Liventsiev, held in Minsk from December 2 to 8. The tournament gathered strong competitors, providing an opportunity for Uzbek athletes to demonstrate their skills.

As a result, the team secured a total of 14 medals: 6 gold, 3 silver, and 5 bronze. In the 54 kg weight category, Farozbek Dusmatov clinched the gold medal.

Additionally, in the 75 kg category, Xusan Rixsiboyev claimed the championship title. The women’s team also achieved outstanding results: Robiya Baxtiyorova (50 kg), Aziza Yoqubova (54 kg), Mushtariybanu Ibrohimjonova (60 kg), and Oysha Toirova (70 kg) each secured gold medals.

Silver medals were awarded to Lazizbek Tulqinov (67 kg), Jasmina Toirova (48 kg), and Ruxshona Parpiyova (81 kg). Bronze medals were earned by Shohrux Abdumalikov (60 kg), Samandar Jalolov (80 kg), Muxlisa Xushvaqtova (52 kg), Dilfuza Bekova (63 kg), and Mavluda Mavlonova (75 kg).

Coaches such as Azim Xudoyqulov, Barbaro Fernandes Ximenez, Jamol Polatov, Javlon Eshmatov, and Yusufjon Tursunov played an active role in preparing the athletes for the competition. Jahongir Soliyev also participated as a referee at the tournament.
